The Patagonia Brimmer offers UPF 40+ sun protection and instant shade for days outdoors. It works equally well on a hike as it does on the river, and it floats if you accidentally get wet. Made in a Fair Trade™-certified factory.
The main fabric is made of 100% recycled polyester stretch ripstop, treated with a durable water-repellent (DWR) finish without intentionally added PFAS, and the UPF 40+ sun protection and wide brim help shield you from the sun.
Medium crown fit with a 3-inch brim; available in two sizes.
The foam brim and lightweight construction keep the hat afloat if it lands in the river.
The adjustable chin cord keeps the hat in place, even in windy conditions.
The lightweight, low-profile sweatband provides moisture and temperature management.
Made in a Fair Trade™-certified factory, which means the people who made this item have received a premium for their work.

Main body: 2.7 oz 100% recycled polyester stretch ripstop with a durable water-repellent (DWR) finish without intentionally added PFAS and UPF 40+ sun protection. Under brim: 4-layer, 4.9 oz, 100% post-consumer recycled nylon faille made from recycled fishing nets to help reduce ocean plastic pollution; with a DWR finish without intentionally added PFAS. Headband: 2.3 oz 100% recycled polyester double-weave. The under brim fabric is bluesign® approved.
